I’ve always had an affinity to artistic expression, but photography is one outlet I’ve constantly found myself coming back to. I think one of the key reasons I’ve latched so tightly to this art is that there are very few tools that give you as much creative freedom as a camera. All you need is a sensor body and a lens, and you have access to an entire spectrum of styles possible through photography. Landscape, Sports, Wildlife, Portrait, Fine-Art, Astrophotography, the list goes on. And the beauty of this versatility is how diverse the stories you’re capable of telling become. Sure more expensive cameras/lenses yield “better” results, but anyone has the power to create an impactful image no matter the camera they use to capture it, and with the evolution of photography in smartphones, the barrier to entry practically doesn’t exist anymore.
