Architecture Photography
When viewed as part of a greater whole like in a skyline or cityscape photograph, most buildings tend to lose a bit of their identity that makes them unique. This is one of the reasons I love photographing architecture. You get to really slow down and hone in on what makes each individual building special. When viewed in isolation, you really get to connect to the vision of the architect and what their intention was in their design. From how it’s structured to how the light hits it at different times of day to how it blends in with its surroundings. These are all considerations that are made when a building is designed and to get to capture how that vision comes to life is very gratifying.
