Blue Dino

from $55.00

Great Blue Heron | Alton Baker Park, OR

Captured: 06/16/24

My favorite way to spend my spring evenings is observing and photographing a siege of Great Blue Herons that annually nest in a tree overlooking a tributary of the Willamette River in Eugene’s Alton Baker Park. Slender and built like dinosaurs, they spend their evenings patiently stalking fish and waiting for generous fishermen to toss them a snack.
