Switzerland | Spring | 2023

On the tail-end of my trip to Israel, I decided to take advantage of the close proximity to Europe and made a pit stop on an incredible 5-day photography trip, with my close friend, in Switzerland. The trip took us through some of the most captivating cities and landscapes in the country. We began our journey in Zurich, where I immersed myself in the bustling city life, capturing the juxtaposition of modernity and old-world charm. Next on our way to the southwest of the country, we made a stop in the capital, Bern. The city is filled with charming cobbled streets and breathtaking medieval architecture in an almost Tolken-esque river valley. From there, we continued onward to Montreux where I indulged in the scenic beauty of Lake Geneva, capturing its tranquil shores and luxurious villas. A stark contrast to the snowy alpine oasis of Zermatt where, sad to say, we never got a clear view through the clouds of the infamous Matterhorn. Keeping with the theme of the snowy alps, we pushed North next to Interlaken where we ascended to the Jungfrau region to capture the sweeping panoramas of its snow-capped peaks and magnificent glaciers. Interlaken itself was quite the destination with the perfect pop of spring color following the dreaded winter weather we endured atop the snowy peaks. Finally on our way back to Zurich, we mad the stop in the picturesque city of Lucerne. With its iconic Chapel Bridge and vibrant waterfront, Lucerne offered a beautiful send-off to this incredible country. These five days in Switzerland were an absolute dream and I can’t wait till I get my next opportunity to visit this enchanted land.
